1. Acceptance of the General Conditions of Sale

1.1 The contract stipulated between Gioiellilopresti.it and the Customer must be considered concluded with the acceptance of the order by Gioielli Lo Presti. In case of impossibility to completely fulfill an order due to lack of one or more items in stock, jewelleryopresti.it will communicate to the Customer the possibility of partial fulfillment and, upon confirmation, will proceed with the order fulfillment according to the supply times. Acceptance of the order is considered tacit, unless otherwise communicated to the Customer. By placing an order, the Customer declares to have read all the information provided during the purchase procedure and to fully accept the general and payment conditions set out below.

1.2 If the Customer is a consumer (i.e. a natural person who purchases the goods for purposes not related to his professional activity), after completing the online purchase procedure, he must print or save an electronic copy of these general conditions of sale, in accordance to the provisions of the Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/05) on distance selling.

1.3 Gioiellilopresti.it undertakes to comply with the legislation on the protection of personal data, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), in order to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the personal data provided by Customers. 2. Purchase Method

2.1 The Customer can only purchase the products present in the electronic catalog of jewellerypresti.it at the time of placing the order, as described in the relevant information sheets. Please note that the image accompanying the descriptive sheet of a product may not perfectly represent its characteristics, particularly in the case of artisanal products.
Artisanal is defined as a product worked with accuracy, not standard and therefore it can be considered a unique piece, the weight is to be considered indicative and at the time of preparation of the jewel it may vary more or less than what is indicatively proposed on the site. For all these reasons, every object produced in an artisanal way will have the possibility of differing in small details that can highlight its uniqueness.

2.2 The correct receipt and acceptance of the order are confirmed by gioilopresti.it through an e-mail response sent to the e-mail address communicated by the Customer. This confirmation message will contain the Date and Time of execution of the order and a "Customer Order Number" to be used in any further communication with jewellerypresti.it. The message will re-present all the data entered by the Customer who undertakes to verify its correctness and promptly communicate any corrections, according to the methods described in this document.

3. Payment Methods

3.1 At no time during the purchase procedure on gioilopresti.it is the company able to know the information relating to the buyer's credit card. This information is transmitted via a secure connection directly to the website of the banking institution that manages the transaction. No Gioielli Lo Presti computer archive will retain such data. Gioiellilopresti.it cannot be held responsible for any fraudulent or improper use of credit cards by third parties during the payment of products purchased on www.gioiellilopresti.it.

3.2 Depending on the payment method chosen during the checkout process, a percentage discount or surcharge may be applied, taking into account the fees charged by payment processors.

4. Delivery methods and costs

4.1 For each order placed on www.gioiellilopresti.it, gioiellilopresti.it issues a sales document for the material shipped, unless the Customer expressly requests an invoice. The invoice will be sent within the shipment and via e-mail, in accordance with the art. 14 Presidential Decree 445/2000 and DL 52/2004. For issuing the invoice, the information provided by the Customer at the time of the order is valid. Once the invoice has been issued, it will not be possible to make changes.

4.2 Delivery costs are borne by gioilopresti.it, except for any transport costs contributions explicitly highlighted at the time the order is placed. Payment for the goods by the Customer will take place using the method chosen during the order. No additional amounts will be requested from the Customer compared to the total order.

4.3 Gioiellilopresti.it declines all responsibility for any delays in processing the order or in delivering the products ordered.

4.4 Upon delivery of the products by the courier, the Customer is required to verify that: a) the number of packages delivered corresponds to what is indicated in the transport document; b) the packaging is intact, not damaged, wet or otherwise altered, including the closing materials (adhesive tape or metal straps).

4.5 Any damage to the packaging and/or to the product or the mismatch in the number of packages or indications must be immediately contested by placing a "WRITTEN CONTROL RESERVE" (SPECIFYING THE REASON FOR THE RESERVE, for example "holed packaging", "packaging crushed”, etc.) on the courier's proof of delivery. Once the courier document has been signed, the Customer will not be able to contest the external characteristics of what was delivered.

4.6 Any problems relating to the physical integrity, completeness or correspondence of the products received with respect to what is indicated in the order confirmation email (in particular regarding instructions and warranty coupon), must be reported within 7 days of delivery, according to the methods described in this document.

4.7 In the event that the Customer does not collect the goods within 10 working days because the courier was unable to deliver them to the address indicated in the order, the ordered items will be returned to the jewellopresti.it warehouses. In this case, Gioiellopresti.it will retain the amount corresponding to the cost of storing the goods at the courier's warehouses, as well as the cost of transporting the goods to its warehouses.

4.8 If the Customer does not collect the goods within 3 months, gioilopresti.it will consider the goods abandoned and will retain an amount equal to the cost of the goods themselves as a penalty.

5. warranty

5.1 All items come with a manufacturer's warranty card and are guaranteed by it.

5.2 An item may be returned for warranty repair, provided that the Customer covers the return shipping costs.

5.3 gioilopresti.it guarantees the characteristics of the objects, the quality of the gold in thousandths, of the gems and the precision of the workmanship carried out by its goldsmiths and setters.

5.4 The guarantee applies to the quality of the product and does not cover any damage caused by wear or improper use of the jewel. It is advisable to bring your jewelery regularly for inspection and cleaning.

6. Prices

6.1 Prices may be subject to change without notice from jewellery.it, with the exception of orders already confirmed.

6.2 Gioiellilopresti.it will retain the expenses incurred for commissions on payments made in the event of a refund.

6.3 Customs charges, duties and expenses are the responsibility of the customer.
